February 2023: After numerous meetings online, the MS-PCC programme held its first in person meeting on the Koç University campus. While overlooking the coast of the Black Sea, we made great progress establishing the mobility structure and the curriculum of our Joint MSc in Sustainable Ocean Management, and decided on our calendar for the remainder of 2023.
March 2023: Good News! Our application to participate in the European Maritime Day In My Country was successful, and we will present the content and goals of the Joint MSc in Sustainable Ocean Management on October 24th, 2023.
May 2023: Our second in-person meeting just finished in Copenhagen, Denmark, hosted by the University of Copenhagen. With the mobility structure and curriculum in place, our meetings focused on the administrative foundations of the programme: student numbers, admission requirements, and budgeting.
May 2023: Good News! Details of our MSc in Sustainable Ocean Management will be presented at the next meeting of the UNESCO UniTwin Network for Underwater Archaeology on June 16th, in Paris.
May 2023: Good News! The first stage of the MS-PCC programme has been endorsed as an Activity of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
